LONDON, 11 March 2025: Polar Graphics, a UK leading distributor for the broadcast, post and pro-AV industries, has signed a licensing agreement with XenData to include its XenData Archive Series software in a newly launched range of LTO archive systems branded as Polar-Arc.
Building on its extensive expertise in delivering archiving and LTO storage solutions, Polar Graphics has a deep understanding of customer needs. XenData’s proven archiving software, with installations in over 95 countries, seamlessly aligns with these requirements. This collaboration marks a natural evolution for Polar Graphics, enabling them to offer custom-built archive solutions based on best-of-breed software, backed by outstanding local European support.
The product range will commence with fully configured servers running with the XenData archive engine and will be offered in multiple configurations including entry level Desktop and Rack Mount LTO units to multi Petabyte tape libraries. The Polar-Arc product range is fully TAA compliant and certified for use with a wide range of SAN/NAS/MAM applications.
The Polar-Arc LTO archive systems are now available across most of Europe.
